Staue of Joseph Lister, 1827 - 1912, in the Grounds of Kelvin Park, adjacent to Glasgow University. Lister was famous surgeon who was responsible for the introduction of disinfectant and sterile equipment and conditions when performing intrusive surgery. He lectured at Glasgow University
