Hebrides Missile Range, West Gerinish, Island of South Uist, Outer Hebrides, Scotland. British military base for the testing of missiles and training of UK Forces missile crews. The base was the inspiration of the film Rockets Galore! a 1957 comedy film sequel to Whisky Galore!
