Burns National Monument, Mauchline, Ayrshire, Scotland. Opened in 1898 to commemorate the centenary of his death. Burns lived in the village of Mauchline and composed many of his most famous works including The Holy Fair, To a Mouse, Holy Willie’s Prayer.
