‘Illuminations in Cove, now Queenstown’ - fireworks and a change of name celebrated a visit to the town in Cork Harbour by Queen Victoria in 1849, though the coming of the Irish Free State in 1922 changed the name back to the Irish ‘Cobh’ (ILN)
