Memorial stone located at the former entrance to Minoco Wharf, in Silvertown, Newham, London, the location of the former TNT factory of Brunner-Mond & Co. On 19 January 1917 an explosion killed 73 people and damaged 70,000 properties, London’s biggest explosion. The memorial was erected by Brunner-Mold in memory of it’s employees killed, and also to those who fell in the First and Second World Wars
