A young woman reads poems on the poetry wall at the South Bank arts centre during a celebration of the Festival of Britain, held on the site beside the river Thames 60 years earlier. London. The ‘poetry wall’ is an art installation called the Lion and the Unicorn by Gitta Gschwendtner, which commemorates the original ‘Lion and Unicorn’ pavilion at the original Festival of Britain but has a 21st century meaning with poetry by young refugees who have found a new home in London.
