Aultnaslanach Viaduct, built in 1897 near Tomatin, a few miles SE of Inverness, on the Highland Line to Perth, was a five span trestle bridge and the only wooden viaduct still carrying mainline trains in Britain, though it was structurally ‘improved’ in the 1990s (1984)
