Old and New London Bridges, drawn by EW Cooke in 1832, a year after Rennie’s bridge had been completed. The ‘old’ bridge being demolished is what was left of the familiar medieval version. (Southwark Bridge is beyond and Blackfriars Bridge in the distance)
